Hi everyone, I want to raise some money for my brother in order to help him stay afloat and pay his medical bills that have already started piling up and will continue to do so.
On June 13th he was admitted to the ICU and stayed in the hospital for 5 days after being sent to the ER from his eye doctor, he thought his vision was going bad and needed glasses but that wasn’t the case. His blood pressure was dangerously high and he then found out his kidneys are working at 16% of normal function. As a young and healthy 23 year old, that is devastating news to hear. The high blood pressure caused him to lose most of his vision for a few weeks, but luckily he has gotten most of it back. He is stabilized, but his kidneys are now functioning at a low 21%. An improvement, but not enough…the doctors recommend a kidney transplant and he will need all the help he can get in order to pay his bills when the time comes for the transplant.
He has what’s called IgA Nephropathy. He is in stage 4 It can be a silent killer, and hard to catch so we are lucky they caught it in time. Basically his body is attacking his kidneys, and it sucks because not a lot is known about the disease and there is no cure.
With all of that being said, my brother and his new fiance, Mercedes, are going through a lot right now and could use some help from their friends/family or anyone who feels inclined to do so. We love you guys and want to make this process a little less stressful. ♥️
Thank you to everyone who can help, even if you can’t, a quick share can help spread the word too.
