Help Texas State Student Researchers Attend SpaceVision 2024
Donation protected
The Society for Space Exploration (SSE) at Texas State is fundraising for the opportunity for our members to attend the annual Students for the Exploration & Development of Space (SEDS) conference in Denver, Colorado in October. Only a few members could attend last year's conference at the University of Chicago, but SSE would like to have as many members as we can attend this year's conference to experience the fantastic career opportunities in the space industry, learn about current space research, explore other university chapter's research projects, network with the world's top companies in engineering, technology, and space initiatives, and gain a greater perspective on how their studies and interests can make a huge impact in the future of the exploration of space. As SSE is launching Texas State University's first two small satellites in 2025, this conference will help us discover what other universities encountered when launching their small satellites and related research, to help our satellite be developed and launched successfully!
The funds raised would be for hotel, plane tickets, and conference ticket purchases for members planning on attending but needing help financially.
