I am making this Gofundme on behalf of my father, Lionel Little. We are a small, hardworking family recently affected by the flooding of Central Texas, specifically for us, Liberty Hill. Though we mostly made it safely (unfortunately, two beloved pet chickens did not survive), we lost most of my father's tools, a carpenter of 30 years. Over his long career, he has slowly built a respectable shop, and it was decimated in a matter of hours by the floodwaters, making it impossible for him to work or provide his skills/expertise in the rebuilding of his community and neighbors. In addition to his livelihood, we have suffered severe foundational home damage, vehicle damage, livestock pen damage, and roof leakage. I know it pains him to ask for help when so many suffered even greater losses, but he is overwhelmed and unable to rebuild without the support of our community.
