My name is Bill Teufel. I work in Wheeling Hospital ICU. On 1/31/2025, one of the dialysis nurses, Tessa Danford, was doing hemodialysis on my patient when she found out that her house was on fire in Barnesville.

She lost everything. It was her family’s house, which she’s lived in since she was 10 years old. She lived with her dogs, cats, and a parrot, which belonged to her late mother. Only her dogs and one cat survived the fire.

Tessa is always so helpful to her coworkers and patients.
