Tesla is my life, and recently she was diagnosed with a large liver tumor, likely cancer. The news caught me completely off guard, and the tumor is already squishing her organs. There are many steps ahead in this journey, and last week was just the beginning. On May 4, we'll learn much more—like whether she's a candidate for a potential lobectomy, which could give her a chance at recovery.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Tesla. I never ask for help, but right now, I am scared and overwhelmed. I've already spent a lot on diagnostic testing and blood work needed for a biopsy. The internists at Med Vet quoted a significant amount for a consult, full abdominal ultrasound, and biopsy of her liver tumor. This is a fluid situation, and I've missed days of work to care for her.
