Hello. My name is Clare Francisco. I am starting this GoFund me on behalf of my best friend Teshia.

Everyone who knows Teshia will tell you that she is the kindest person that you will ever meet. She is friendly, heartwarming, selfless, and generally has a positive outlook in life. There isn’t a time where Teshia isn’t smiling or laughing with her friends or family.

She is a special education teacher specializing in 3-5 year old children on the spectrum. She loves the children that she teaches and regards the job she does as her calling in life. She gives her all to her job and does her best to help every single one of her students on their journey of life.

Teshia is known to be a die hard LA sports fan and enjoys watching Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Rams and cheering them onto victory. She loves her family and she will always think of her mom as her best friend.

In May 2017 just a few days shy of her birthday, she lost her mom to pancreatic cancer - and in December 2021 she herself was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

I am starting this GoFund me to help offload the various costs that will be put on Teshia’s shoulders during her treatment time.

She expressed that she would like to undergo Cold Capping during her chemotherapy to try and offset losing her hair. A majority of this money will be going towards that as it will have to be paid out of pocket. The rest of the money will be used for her other expenses that insurance doesn’t cover.

My goal as her friend is to try and offload any monetary stress that she will face because I want her solely concentrated in fighting this disease. Any amount helps and I would be forever grateful if you can share her story to all so whomever would like to help and donate can.
