Terril Susan McHardy (Terry).

Passed away on July 4, 2025, in Oroville, CA.

Terril was born in Denver, Colorado, to her mother Elizabeth McDonough and her father William McDonough on August 2, 1947. She worked as a special ed teacher at Berry Creek Elementary in 1987 for four years. She substituted for Oroville High School, Las Plumas High School, as well as Prospect.

She enjoyed animals of all kinds. She loved horseback riding, barrel racing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to read as well. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended Mountain Chapel in Berry Creek, CA.

She is survived by her son Alexander McHardy, daughter Jessica McHardy, and grandchildren Lexi, JC, Ciera, Jocelyn, Jordyn, Ezekiel, Laila, and Daniel Jr. Brother Mac McDonough and sister Moira Martin.

Memorial service will be held at Trinity Bible Church on July 19th at 1 pm with Pastor Anthony Navarro of Mountain Chapel officiating.

My brother and I are hoping to raise funds to help him fly out here from Illinois to help take care of everything. We are also hoping to raise funds to help take care of her 6 dogs and cats, to help cover food and the gas to drive to Berry Creek and Magalia to take care of her animals that she loved so much. Also, to cover other expenses such as her storage units and any other unknown bills at this time. Thank you all. God bless.
