Help Terry’s Battle against a brain tumour

Hi my name is Lisa Peters and I am fundraising for my brother in-law Terry Peters and his family as they navigate his new diagnosis. On March 11, Terry got the worst news, he was diagnosed with a scary brain tumour causing epilepsy,. Family and close friends have been processing, praying and waiting on what the next steps are and how we can help. It has been difficult to say the least.

Now there is a plan. Terry will be in Vancouver in the next couple of weeks for imaging and then a major brain surgery. Terry’s parents and his wife Karen will all be down in Vancouver at a hotel while he is having appointments and the surgery and then recovery after. This may take a week or a few weeks. They have two teenage sons who will stay here in Kelowna.

As Terry is self-employed, the goal is to offset hotel costs, travel costs, food costs, and help with expenses for the lengthy time away from work. ( Not to mention all the therapy he will need after the surgery.)

Terry and Karen would not ask for themselves, but I know full well how quick they are to help others, and I have personally experienced their generosity. We do not know what the future holds, but we have faith and hope for the best possible outcome. We are grateful at this time that Terry has a whole team of experts in Vancouver that are taking on his case. We ask for prayer for Terry and Karen and if anyone has any means to donate his family would so appreciate it.
