Help Terry Wagner Through Cancer

Donation protected
I’ve never thought I’d have a reason to ask for “Go Fund Me” help, but today, I’m doing just that.  Some may have noticed I’m not on FB as much these days, and there’s a reason for that.  Although I’ve let a few people know, I’m just now ready to post what’s been going on since we moved.

Not long after moving to Oklahoma, I began to have trouble with my back, unlike anything I’ve experienced before.  I went to the doctor thinking I had a pinched nerve or something, but an MRI and CT Scan led to a total body bone scan, which revealed metastasized breast cancer in my spine, pelvic area, and on two ribs.

I got started on radiation in Tulsa, which was leading up to chemo, however was soon made aware that the chemo would offer little to no chance of curing me.  My regular oncologist basically said, " take the chemo or we will arrange for hospice." I simply could not accept that as my only two choices, so Ken and I and the family prayed and talked and talked and prayed some more, we made the decision for me to seek alternative treatment at the Hope4Cancer  Clinic in Tijuana, MX as the last hope.

With my 3 wonderful kids, 9 grandkids, 7 great-grandchildren, and a few personal things I'd like to accomplish, I still have a lot to live for.

My son, Chris, and granddaughter, Kassie, are here with me.  Mr. Wags is holding down the fort in Oklahoma, as he has his own problems getting around and this would be a difficult place for him to navigate.

Although there is considerable pain associated with cancer that is in the bones, the good news is that my overall condition is good and I feel as though I have begun to make progress. I had already heavily modified my diet, even before coming here, and feel it is a factor in physically feeling stronger by the day. With regular blood work and an endless battery of other tests, my treatment plan and diet were carefully created and I am in a variety of therapies and treatments from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.  There are not enough words to describe the caring atmosphere at Hope4Cancer.

All doctors, nurses, and everyone else on staff treat the patients with concern and dignity.  I’m surrounded by “HOPE” day and night in this place, and that’s what I always hold in my heart and mind.  God led me here, and He’ll lead me through all the therapies and the rest is in his hands.  I trust Him completely.  He’s given me the chance to fight and fight I will!  He’ll either deliver me back to my family well and ready to back into the swing of life, or He’ll take me Home to him.  I’m looking at a win-win situation!

Please read about Hope4Cancer to get an idea of the array of treatments they offer their patients…many of these treatments are known to work well, with many lives saved, but they are not offered in the States.

We are hoping this Go Fund Me Effort will allow me to extend the original three-week treatment, a couple of additional weeks and I feel confident that I am going to beat this monster. Our life savings have been seriously depleted, as US insurance plans do not cover any form of non-toxic cancer treatments, especially outside of the US, so I am coming “hat in hand” with a request for any kind of assistance that you are in a position to provide to help me along with this journey. If nothing else, your prayers are helpful!!

With love,
Terry Wagner
