Help Support Terry Vaughn Through Emergency Brain Surgery & Recovery
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your prayers, love, and support for an incredible man — Terry Vaughn. A few weeks ago, while doing what he loves most — umpiring on the baseball field — Terry suffered a severe stroke. Since then, he has endured multiple strokes due to 100% blockage in his right cerebral artery and 85% blockage in his left. Doctors have now determined that Terry must undergo emergency brain bypass surgery to reroute blood flow and save his life.
Terry has given his heart and soul to the game of baseball, dedicating decades to umpiring with professionalism, passion, and unwavering integrity. If you’ve ever met Terry, you know that his love for the sport is only matched by his kindness, humility, and dedication to others. He's more than just an umpire — he's a mentor, a father, a friend, and a man of quiet strength and enormous heart.
Terry has always shown up for others. Now it's our turn to show up for him.
This surgery and the long road to recovery that follows will bring immense financial burdens — from medical expenses and rehabilitation to lost wages and living costs. We are asking for help to ease this burden on Terry and his family, so they can focus entirely on his healing.
Every dollar, every share, every prayer makes a difference. No contribution is too small.
Let’s rally around Terry, a man who’s always given so much to his community — on and off the field.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
With love and gratitude,
