A few weeks ago, while doing what he loves most — umpiring on the baseball field — Terry suffered a severe stroke. Since then, he has endured multiple strokes due to 100% blockage in his right cerebral artery and 85% blockage in his left. Doctors have now determined that Terry must undergo emergency brain bypass surgery to reroute blood flow and save his life.

Terry has given his heart and soul to the game of baseball, dedicating decades to umpiring with professionalism, passion, and unwavering integrity. If you’ve ever met Terry, you know that his love for the sport is only matched by his kindness, humility, and dedication to others. He's more than just an umpire — he's a mentor, a father, a friend, and a man of quiet strength and enormous heart.
