Let's help Terry Keller Fight for His Health

I am David Nesloney, Sr and have known Terry Keller for most of my life. He is a kind, giving, hardworking man and friend who has always given so much to others — and now needs our help more than ever.

Terry grew up in San Antonio as part of the well-known Keller family. His parents, Charlie and Bernice, ran the iconic Comanche Ice House on Rigsby Drive — a favorite neighborhood spot known for cold beer, pinball, pool, country music on the jukebox, and Charlie’s famous 5-for-a-dollar burgers with homemade fries.

Terry eventually moved with his family to Rockport, Texas, where they opened Keller’s Marina. Terry worked side by side with his dad shrimping and helping run the family business. He was the life of the party, known for his drum solos and love of music — and most importantly, his willingness to help anyone in need.

But now, Terry is facing serious health battles.

• He has a severely weakened heart and is barely able to work.

• A recent fall left him with a broken arm that isn’t healing properly.

• Medical bills are piling up fast.

• His wife, Manda, is also bravely fighting her own battle with cancer.

Despite everything, Terry is still trying to hang on — and his sister Kay is helping to keep his small pool cleaning business going, to help bring in an income — but it’s not enough, and he’s no longer physically able to keep working.

This is where we’re asking for your support.
