EDIT I posted this a couple months ago and thankfully got enough to get Mozart diagnosed. Unfortunately is it Soft Tissue Sarcoma. I've spoken with two different vets and both are concerned about hi. Surviving surgery even though that's the best option. In the meantime I'm treating him with Chinese herbs and fenbendazole. We have to go in every two weeks to get fluid drained off it. This last visit Monday they got 65 ccs. . But guys, I'm not making it. My car payments are behind about 1300.00 and they are looking for my car. We live in the middle of no where and it's over an hour to one vet and 2 hours to another vet. I can't sustain taking care of Mozart like this. I also have to cook twice a week for him and it's a lot. Fresh meats and veggies. I can't stock up on that. Please, I'm begging for your help. I can't buy the things we need for him and I'm about to lose my car if I don't pay on it. I know times are tough for everyone. But we will. E stranded out here with nothing and he will not fare well. After serving aboard two ships in the Navy, I continued my service with the Birmingham Police Dept and then on to Florida in Fire and EMS.

I was rendered homeless four times by hurricanes, and the last one, Sally, just destroyed me. I lost absolutely everything, and after managing to get another vehicle, which I had to live in with my two dogs, we finally found a place in TN. It's a shed in a cow pasture, but it's home now. I was stranded in NC during Hurricane Helene and suffered losses from that as well. I can't seem to get away from storms.

It's been a long struggle, and I've gradually fallen further and further behind, so I am now at the point of filing bankruptcy so that the government doesn't take my disability checks. I'm older, I'm tired, and I just need some help. I'm about to lose my car, and where I live is 30 mins from the closest gas station. Not a good place to be stranded. I'm also very dependent on my emotional support dog, who is experiencing some health issues and needs vet care immediately. I'm at my wits' end. I hate having to ask for charity. I asked a very long time ago and received nothing, so this is difficult for me to do. But the Lord told me to ask. So here I am. I need my tribe now. I need help. I can't keep on like this and need just a little help to try and keep my car and get my dog the help he needs so he can continue by my side.

I'm a true patriot who loves my country, and I don't regret all the sacrifices. I've lost all my friends and family who have gone home before me, so I have absolutely no help at all. I'm just an old gal with her two dogs living in a farmer's cow pasture. I just need a break. It's killing me to see my dog struggle, and I don't want to be here without him. I know life is hard for everyone, but if someone out there can just help us a little, it would make such a difference in our lives.
