If you have been around boats in Central Texas for any length of time, then you probably know my friend Terry Cox. Terry has been involved in the marine industry for at least 40 years and an enthusiast like me for a lifetime. Some may or may not know that Terry had a battle with cancer in his throat last year that resulted in a leave of absence from his position as service manager at Hurst Harbor Marina. It all looked very promising until 2.14.22 when he let me know a new tumor has been found on his spine. This is inoperable and will require another round of chemo. Now you know what is wrong and how serious this is for my friend, let me explain what I’m doing here. We were able to continue to pay for his insurance until the marina property changed hands. This leaves Terry with one choice at his age and that is Cobra insurance which is very expensive. I’m asking for some help to pay Cobra and other expenses to help the family focus on recovery and not money. I know my boating family will answer the call, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Lastly, Please keep Terry and his family in your prayers for strength and healing.
