Help Terry Celebrate Her Short Film Success - in Hollywood!

I am overwhelmed by these results. It's very simple. I made the finals of the One Dem Minute Film Festival, and I was invited to Hollywood (yes THAT Hollywood!) to attend the festival screening of my film along with the other finalists. I simply didn't have the funds to make that trip....and now, because of your generosity and support...I do!!

"Thank you" is such a little phrase, but it's the right one. Thank you all for making it possible for me to celebrate this success in person...I will always be grateful to you all.

Will you help me attend the third annual “One Dem Minute Film Festival” on September 1 in Hollywood, CA, one day before my 79th birthday? I am thrilled to announce that a short film I created and produced has been selected as a finalist in the festival, and I've been invited to attend!

The film, "Propaganda: Who Is Lying to You?" is a song parody of the Banana Boat Song, explaining how propaganda works and giving examples of lies that Trump tells. “He say lies, he say lies, he say lies….” The mood is tropical!

The festival was established to support the creation of art that would encourage undecideds, "squishy democrats," and independents to vote for Democratic candidates. Films will be released for viewing and live streamed at the festival and then heavily promoted until the election in November.

The amount I’m asking includes the GoFundMe fee, a 10% tithe to a non-profit (to be named) and my expenses: airfare, hotel (Aug31-Sept 2), meals and a new outfit.

I will share the link to the livestream on Sept. 1 when it is available. We are asked not to show our films in public until then.
