On November 9th, 2021 we lost a beautiful soul. Michelle passed away after a battle with 2 types of pneumonia and complications from Covid. She was fully vaccinated upon passing, and was one of the first in line when the vaccine first rolled out, doing her part to keep the world safe. That's who she always was...one who fully put the needs of others first and foremost.

Upon Michelle's death, she was caring for her nephew Oliver, who is 15. Oliver is now in the care of Terris, who plans on taking after her mother, and providing a wonderful life for him. In doing so, Terris will have to apply for guardianship through the courts. Those that knew Michelle, knew her to be kind and caring and always being there for anyone she knew and loved. Especially Oliver. And she went peacefully knowing that Terris would continue doing that for him.

We are setting up this GoFundMe for the needs of Oliver. He is looking for a fresh start here in Santa Maria, and as his family, we want to do all we can to provide that for him. We are asking for help, because we all know, it takes a village to raise a child. Oliver came to Terris with a small backpack and a small suitcase....and that's all. Terris will need to add him to her health insurance as well.

Thank you in advance for any and all help to make this move as easy on Oliver as possible. Michelle will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. But, we know she will rest easy knowing that Oliver is in the best of hands.
