On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, my friend's home was lost to a fire. Terrie has been living in this trailer for about a year because she has nowhere else to live. She lost her mementos, photos, and memories that a life accumulates, along with normal living items.

There is an apartment nearby that Terrie can move into on October 1st, 2025, but now she'll need to start all over. All of her basic household supplies are gone, and she does not have the funds to replace everything. Think if you needed to go grocery shopping for everything in your cupboards, fridge, and freezer all at once. If you needed a TV, couch, and bed all at once, all while your vehicle has decided to no longer give you heat when you drive. Imagine the last time you went shopping for anything and the knowledge that grocery money doesn't stretch very far these days.
