Help Terrie beat cancer

Hi everyone
My name is Gabe and I’m making this on behalf of my mom Terrie. She is a mother of two, grandmother of four, and has been a CNA at Copley in Aurora for 20 years. She has also done home care prior to that and even part time now as well.
Most of her life has been spent helping others at work or at home. She has always put everyone else’s needs first and never asks for anything. That’s why I am asking for help for her.
In early April she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was devastating to the family and took us all by surprise. Ultimately it was decided that surgery will be needed which is scheduled at the end of May.
What we understand is that it was caught early which is a good sign. However, the surgery is quite invasive and several follow ups will be necessary to compensate the full picture. These include reconstruction and further evaluations, scans, and treatments.
Many years ago it was determined that her cervix had developed precancerous cells which required surgery at that time as well. Fortunately there had been no further issues stemming from that but this is now a new issue.
The situation has been difficult but she has remained positive and strong as ever. She has received so much emotional support which we are all thankful for.
At this point, I am asking the community for donations to assist with medical expenses so she can focus on getting well. We are extremely grateful for anything you are willing to give and we thank you for any and all support.
