Help Terri Fawcett Heal from 17 Years of Pain

Prior to 2006 implants and root canals

My name is Terri Fawcett and I have lived with chronic, severe pain in my body for the last 17 years. I am so desperate to be healed, so that I may live a normal life. It is not easy for me to do, but I am asking for help. My first surgery is scheduled for October 26, 2024 and the final one will be completed after healing from the first one. 100% of donations will go towards the dental work, gas/travel costs, and medical visits.

THE BEGINNING
The severe pain that I live in, began with my teeth. As a child, a “Dentist” damaged most all of my teeth. He drilled, pulled and filled my teeth unnecessarily. I was so embarrassed of how bad my teeth looked, that I would never smile. Although I didn’t have the money and it put me in so much debt, in October of 2006 I chose to fix my teeth. Some dental implants and root canals later, I had beautiful teeth. And I smiled again.

17 YEARS OF PAIN
On March 1, 2007, I woke up in severe pain. Inflammation set in and terrible pain filled my body. Since then I have been to every type of doctor and tried so many medications but my pain just increased. I was put on prednisone (a short-term drug) to stop the inflammation because they couldn’t diagnose me. 17 years later, I am STILL on prednisone due to the extreme pain. Some of the side effects I have from this awful drug are: bone loss, lack of focus, blurred vision, dizziness, shortness of breath, swelling, osteoporosis, ocular migraines, insomnia and more. The pain in my deformed hands, ribs, feet and torso is excruciating. Simple tasks like brushing my teeth and getting dressed are so painful, I just cry. My ribs and feet hurt so badly that they feel broken and walking and bending are terribly difficult. It is embarrassing for me to ask, but any donation that you can help me with, would be so appreciated.

MY HOME LIFE
My sister lives with me and she is developmentally delayed. Properly caring for her and myself is becoming increasingly difficult. I have tried as hard as I can to stay positive and push through the pain. But it is affecting my every moment and I cannot function normally.

MY FUTURE
A full reconstruction of my mouth will cost $32,000 for the surgical procedure alone. Additional post-op medical costs are projected at $10,000. Insurance does not cover this procedure and I am still paying for the previous years of medical and dental debt. After extensive research and much prayer, I found a Dentist who has specialized experience for this type of care. His knowledge and expertise has revealed that bad root canals and the titanium implants are what is causing all of the inflammation. His office is 4 hours away so there will be travel expenses. Once the reconstruction is done, medical management will be needed to wean me off of the prednisone, to avoid severe reactions.

I am a motivated, independent person with a love for life and I need healing desperately. 100% of every contribution will go to the treatment. I know that God is in this with me and I trust Him. If you can find it in your heart to help me, I will be so very grateful. Thank you for your kindness, Terri
