Help Terri & Clay Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Like so many in Western, NC, Terri & Clay Connolly were impacted by Hurricane Helene. Their home in Fletcher, NC sustained significant exterior and structural damage when a tree came down on it during the hurricane. Terri, Clay, and their dog are all safe, but rebuilding will be a long road ahead. The road to their home is still inaccessible by car and there is currently no power in their area.
As Terri's co-workers at Burn Boot Camp, both at HQ in Huntersville, NC and across the country, we want to make sure Terri & Clay have the resources they need once access to their home opens up, and power, and network service return to their area. They are going to need boxes and tape to pack up the house, gas for chainsaws to clean up the yard, propane to cook on their camp stove, daycare or boarding for their dog Akira, and potentially so much more while they wait for tree removal services, water remediation, and their insurance assessment. While we hope their homeowners insurance will cover the major repairs, there are so many other small expenses that are going to impact them as they rebuild that will not be covered by insurance. We are so thankful for the large-scale relief efforts happening across the Southeast in the wake of the hurricane. So many people have asked how they can specifically help Terri and Clay, but since we don't know if we can even get supplies to them specifically, we thought this fundraiser would be the best way to help our friends directly. Thank you for all of the help you can provide them.
