Dear Friends,

 

After much cajoling and persuasion, our beloved and badass Terri allowed me to set up this GoFundMe for her.

 

Our beautiful friend is struggling with breathing challenges, sleep challenges and debilitating migraines. After a lot of obstacles and frustrating doctor's appointments over the last six months she was advised to have major surgery to reduce her turbinates (nasal nodes), remove her tonsils and have an adenoidectomy. These procedures will improve her breathing, her sleeping and reduce her migraines. Additionally she is advised to start using a CPAP. All of this will allow her to continue to serve her clients in realizing their strength and fitness goals and also support her own powerlifting journey.

 

While Terri has the full support of her doctors, insurance hasn't fully cooperated for the necessary procedures and CPAP. After culling together her own resources there is still a gap in finances to pay for the surgery and CPAP. The good news is, this is where YOU can help. All of the money we raise for Terri will go to her portion of the surgery costs, her post surgery meds and her CPAP.

What: $8500 will be used to pay Terri's portion of her surgery and aftercare costs as follows:

Surgery Fee Not Covered by Insurance: $6500 + CPAP Machine: $1500 + Post Surgery Medication $500

Why: Like so many Terri's income has been reduced due to the ongoing pandemic challenges. She continues to work to support her elderly and underserved client base while training for powerlifting events. Our contributions will ease her financial burden and make treatment and care available immediately.
