Help Terrence (TJ) with medical bills from crash

On June 14, I was in a cycling accident that put me in the hospital for 5 days. I suffered: A collapsed lung 3 broken ribs A hip contusion and Micro tears in my Labrum and rotator along with Road Rash down my back from shoulders all the way to my hips. During the course of my stay at the hospital, my hospital bills totaled $69,000. I am so thankful for health insurance, but they were only able to cover $59,000 of the cost. I was left with the remainder and am struggling to pay it off. Thankfully, the hospital has been willing to work with me and will expect full payment when i have it as long as I’m making payments. This injury has set me back significantly keeping me out of work for 4 full weeks. As a father of two beautiful children and family that relies on me I am feeling the strain of this financial burden. I am doing everything I can to get back on track and am hoping to turn this set back into a set up. For those who know me, you'll understand how much cycling means to me. It's more than just a hobby; it's a way of life, a source of freedom. My love of cycling has brought me joy, pushed my limits, and introduced me to amazing people. It has been my therapy and my escape, and it's challenging to explain how deeply this incident has impacted me. I am now focused on my recovery and am determined to get back to work as soon as possible. With your support I will be able to take care of my medical debt, continue my rehabilitation and physical therapy and help my son and daughter get ready to start their school year off to a good start. I know that I can make it through this and that I will come out of this experience even stronger. I am grateful for the support of my friends, family and of course the amazing Syracuse network during this difficult time.
