Hi, I'm Terrell. My wife Ciara and I live in Aubrey, Texas.
In May 2026 I lost my job as an Implementation Supervisor at Wellfit Technologies. Ciara is out of work too, and we're both on Texas unemployment. It doesn't cover our basic bills, and we have no savings to fall back on.
Where things stand right now:
- Electric (True Power): $544.03, due October 5. We've received a disconnect notice.
- Water (City of Aubrey): past due.
- Mortgage: $3,100/month, currently in forbearance. That pauses the payments for now, but they will come due again.
What we're doing about it: I'm applying for jobs, driving for DoorDash to bring in what I can, and starting a master's degree at WGU so I come out of this stronger than I went in.
How your gift will be used, in this order:
1. Keep the power on: the $544.03 electric bill due Oct 5
2. Catch up the past-due water bill
3. Groceries and basic essentials
4. Anything beyond that goes toward our next mortgage payment, so we're ready when forbearance ends
Our $4,000 goal covers the electric bill, one mortgage payment, and the water bill and groceries. I'll post an update each time a bill is paid so you can see exactly where your money went.
If you can't give, sharing this page helps just as much. And if you know of an opening in implementation, operations, or client onboarding (in DFW or remote), I'd be grateful for the lead.
Thank you for reading and for standing with us.
