Hi, we are the family of Ricardo Warner and are fundraising to help our Uncle Ricky, who is an Army and Air Force Veteran who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is living alone in New Hampshire, and our family is trying to raise money to help move him out to San Diego, California, so he can stay with his family. His children and grandchildren live in Oceanside, and we have several other family members that are very close by that will be able to support him during this difficult time (sister, nephew, etc.). The funds we raise will go directly towards the daunting task of moving him across the country. He is unable to fly due to recent surgery and does not have a vehicle, so we have been exploring the options of having a family member fly to New Hampshire and either rent a car to drive him to California or accompany him on a train ride. Both of these are fairly expensive, especially when considering the accommodations he will need to make the long trip as comfortable as possible.

Just like many others, our family has faced challenges during the pandemic, and are not all financially able to fully fund this critically urgent trip. Based upon what his doctors have told us, we are not confident that he will be with us much longer, and we want as much of his remaining time to be spent with his family, rather than alone. Anything that can be contributed will help and is greatly appreciated.

We have already arranged for his apartment to be packed up and moved out to California in 2 weeks, and are looking to close out donations on December 5th. This timeline is based upon the need to arrange transportation. Again, thank you for the support, thoughts, and prayers for our Uncle Ricky.
