Hello! We are Tara and Chris, and we are raising funds for our mom, Teri, and our Stepdad, Greg. They’ve been together for over 30 years, and right now, they’re facing one of the hardest chapters of their lives.

Greg has been fighting COPD, and it’s taken a serious toll on his health, current stage 4. He now needs full-time care at home. Teri has been doing everything she can — working to keep them afloat while caring for him around the clock — but she can’t keep doing both.

This isn’t just about money — it’s about love, dignity, and the right to stay together through the hardest days.

In 2023, Greg’s world changed. What started as shortness of breath became something far more serious — COPD, a cruel disease that slowly robs him of the simple act of breathing. Over time, it’s taken more from him — his strength, his independence, and the life he once knew.

And through it all, Teri has been there. His wife, his caregiver, his best friend. She’s been holding everything together — working, paying the bills, making sure Greg never feels alone. But now, his condition has reached the point where he can’t be left by himself. He needs her full-time.

That means Teri has to make an impossible choice: keep working to survive, or stay home to care for the man she loves — and lose their only income.

No one should ever have to make that choice.

We’re raising funds to help them cover the basics — utilities, groceries, healthcare expenses, and all the little things that life demands even when your heart is breaking.

Teri deserves to be home with Greg — to hold his hand, to laugh through the pain, to sit beside him without worrying how the next bill will get paid.
