Help Teri and her children rebuild their lives
Donation protected
On Monday January 18, 2021 around 4:15 in the afternoon a fire broke out in my sister's home. By the grace of God her children were not home, but Teri and Adam, (her boyfriend) were in the home. Teri ran to the kitchen to get something to try and extinguish the fire but very quickly realized that would be impossible, as the fire spread rapidly and engulfed the room and doorway in a blink of an eye. Teri was able to get out and get to the neighbor's house and ask them to call 911. Tragically Adam did not make it out of the house and passed away as well as two of the family's beloved cats.
The full extent of the damage is unknown at this time due to the fact they are still unable to return to the home to see what survived the fire. But from the items that were pulled out by firefighters, several rooms are a total loss. The family is still in shock and have a long, tough road ahead of rebuilding their lives and replacing all that was lost. Other than the personal effects that were lost and or damaged, half of Teri and I's business inventory and supplies were in the room that the fire had started in was destroyed.
Teri is one of the most loving, generous, kindhearted and creative women I've ever been blessed to know. Her children are sweet, smart and every bit as kindhearted as their mother. Teri has helped so many people even when she had been struggling as well. She will always do what she can to help a friend, family or a stranger. She and her children are worthy of the help and outreach from friends, family and the community. Thank you for helping, praying and giving to them. Have a Blessed Day...
