Hi, I’m Teresita Gorbea, and this is my son, Michael Fanelli. We’ve been through a difficult journey, and now, we need your support.

In June 2024, while doing outreach in Brooklyn, I slipped and injured my left foot, breaking my ankle, shattering my heel, and dislocating a bone. Healing has been painful, but I remain hopeful and trust in God’s healing.

Michael, born with a heart condition, had a cardiac arrest at just 17 years old, and still lives with the side effects. Now, he’s my caregiver.

Since January, our apartment has faced severe water damage. Water flooded down from the apartment above. Along with a severe leak from the radiators, these have caused mold and health issues for both of us—migraines, coughing, rashes, and abdominal problems. We’ve been diagnosed with a stage 2 mold infection.

The non-profit organization who is our landlord is working tirelessly to fix these issues. There are other issues beyond the agency’s control that may take place.. there is need for God’s supernatural miracle here.

First and foremost, we need to replace all the furniture affected by mold. And the possibility of having to move.
