Help Teresa Sue Johnson's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello everyone,

My name is Katei and I'm creating this GoFundMe to help my best friend/niece Sara Johnson, Keeshea Johnson, Heather Johnson and my nephew Dalton Johnson fund raise to cover the expenses involved in the unexpected loss of their Mother and my beloved sister in law; Teresa Sue Johnson.

To know Teresa was to know the love and faith of God and family. Teresa not only was the cornerstone pillar to her "broken" families foundation, but she was, to many, a safe and loving home away from home.

Despite the adversity she faced in her own journey and her growing medical file, she always found or made time for her children and her grandchildren. She made time for her extended family and friends, she made time for her church and to support local christian bands. Teresa also made time for me. She became a pillar to all of those who she took in to love and help raise along the way.

In fact, she gave so much of herself and her love and time away here on earth, she ran out while she was still "too young".

She being the only cornerstone pillar for her children means that, now that she's gone, they're left holding pieces of shattered hearts atop the ruble that resembles our once safe and steady place to shelter.

Teresa did not have a life insurance policy that we are aware of. (we have people checking for potential policies she may not have discussed)

the cost is overwhelming to her children who are all- similar to Teresa- single parents.

Teresa WAS THEIR ONLY/VITAL support system. They're lost in the loss of her, and on top of losing a mother so unexpectedly sudden, they've lost a friend and a "battle buddy".

Keeping omissions in place, these kids and Teresa have lived through hell. They've fought through it together as a team and even while facing her own fight, Teresa ALWAYS remained a steady shelter from life's storms for her children and her grandchildren.

Now that she's ascended from the depths of her personal hells and she has risen to the heights of her beloved Gods kingdom- the loss of her leaves wounded screams of agony deep down inside of her children and so many of us.

I can not take the pain from them. I would not if I could because the deeper the love, the deeper the wound of loss..... I am walking with a void inside too because she loved me that big. The only thing I can hope to help them with is the additional burdensome expenses. That is why I've created this page.... I'm doing this as an act of faith in honor of Teresa Sue Johnson (lobb). They said "with faith the size of a mustard seed...." She had the faith the size of Kilimanjaro.

Please help them if you can with donations. They need to cover some of the cost prior to setting the services and they'll need some additional support along the way. If you're not able to send a donation that's understandable but PLEASE SHARE this on the chance someone you know can or will.

We want to say thank you to those of you who have reached out, prayed out or hugged us harder..... and we thank every single future contributor. Funeral arrangements haven't been made entirely due to a scarcity of funding and a big emotions from the blow. They will be announced here in an update and across the social media platforms as soon as details are available.

Please hug those you love very tightly and let them know how deep you love them..... our quality time is the best thing we can give to others, yet its quantity can never be known.

Update section;

Every penny of donations will cover the final expenses for Teresa's funeral.

Funeral services will be held at Foster-Toler funeral home in Greensburg, Ky.

Wednesday September 4th, 2024

will be a closed casket ceremony.

Public visitation will begin at 11am (county time)

The funeral service will start at 1pm

Burial will take place in Aetna Grove Cemetery in Hudgins Ky after the ceremonies are completed.

I've attached a card for the funeral home for those who feel more comfortable to do a direct payment through them.

We will gather the total cost and adjust our goal with an accurate estimate. We do know that it's less than the 7000 that we estimated. I'll have that adjusted when we get the full figures and pricing for a headstone.
