Today, January 3, 2026, after a courageous week-long battle for her life in a hospital in the city of Lynwood, Ca., God decided to call Teresa back home in heaven, leaving an immense void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Teresa was a vibrant soul, known for her unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and boundless love for her family. Her sudden departure has left us all in shock and grappling with unimaginable grief.

Teresa's greatest wish was always to be able to see her brothers after 30 years and return back to her family in her beloved hometown of Salvatierra, Guanajuato, Mexico. Tragically, she passed away far from home, and now, her family faces the daunting challenge of bringing her body back to Mexico to lay her to rest in peace. The financial burden of international repatriation is substantial, and in this time of immense sorrow, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate strangers for support.
