Help Teresa on her Road to Recovery

Hello friends and family! This is very hard for me, but I’m requesting your support to help our Go Fund me for my wife, Teresa Stoots Farrell. Some of you may know but most of you don’t know she recently had emergent surgery on 11/8/2023 for a perforated leaking bowel and was hospitalized for 10 days. She now has a temporary colostomy bag after her infected colon was removed and will require another surgery for colostomy reversal in 3-4 months to allow her colon to heal, which will result in more time off from work. Nothing she could have done could’ve avoided this outcome. The doctors stated sometimes these things just happen and luckily she got to the ER before she became more septic. The doctors said she just wound up with the worst case scenario you could have for a bout of diverticulitis. Good news was no abnormal pathology!!! No cancer! During this time I wasn’t paid for my time off (limited leave and not being a government worker anymore sucks) while I was at the hospital by her side. She will be out of work for at least two months getting partial pay (only 50%) from her short term disability benefits. This is not to mention all the medical bills that will be coming in for 10 days of hospitalization, emergency surgery, and ongoing home healthcare visits. It’s rough and a lot of adjustments for her but this too shall pass. We will get through this as God has gotten us through much worse. Many of you were there for us when she battled breast cancer. I’m not one to put my business out there, but we could really use any help right now. We ask for your support and shares to help us get the word out and any help through this difficult time is much appreciated.
