My name is Samantha Lopez, and my sister Serena Chacon and I, along with our step-father Robert Juarez are reaching out to share the difficult news about our Mother, Teresa Juarez, who has been recently placed on hospice care. After years of battling advanced emphysema and other health issues, she is now in her final stages of this battle. While this is not what we had hoped for her, we are trying our best to make sure she is as comfortable as possible in this final stage. As we navigate this challenging time, it has become clear that none of us were or are financially ready for this. We want to make sure that what time she has left is spent comfortably and surrounded by loved ones, without having to worry about the financial stressors involved.
