It is with great sadness to share this news. My best friend, Teresa Reed, lost her brother, Jhonny Davila, to a very unexpected and short battle with stomach cancer, last Friday, January 28th, 2022. He was only 61 years old. Never in a million years would we have ever imagined something like this happening. We will always remember Jhonny’s dedication to his clients, his passion for soccer, his laugh and his unconditional love for his mother, Ines, his sister, Teresa, and niece and nephew, Jade & Ricky. He was a great friend to many and his constant life coaching will never be forgotten. He was always full of life and always had everyone’s best interest at heart. There are so many great memories to hold on to, and we are very grateful for that. May all his memories be eternal.

 

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as the family goes through this heartbreaking loss. Unfortunately, the high cost of funeral services is a huge point of stress for many families who have just lost a loved one, especially so unexpectedly. We ask for your help on their behalf. The medical bills and funeral costs are far more than expected. Any donation amount will make a difference.

Family and friends of Jhonny Davila are respectfully invited to attend a viewing that will be held at Thibadeau Mortuary Service, 124 E Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Saturday, February 5th, from 4:30pm-6:00pm. For those that want to attend, we will be gathering afterwards at Cahra Salon, 109 South Summit Ave, Gaithersburg, MD to share our fondest memories of Jhonny.

 

On Sunday, February 6th, we will lay him to rest at Parklawn Cemetery, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853. If attending, please gather for the procession at the entrance at 1:15pm. Following the burial, there will be a celebration of life at Il Porto Restaurant, 245 Muddy Branch Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 at 3pm.
