Hi my name is Ellari and I am fundraising for my amazing mother, Teresa. My mom was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September of 2021. This has been a swift and harsh reality check for us and the hardest event my family has ever had to go through. I am raising money to go towards her medical expenses next year (2022) so my parents can stress less about money and can focus on getting my mom back to her active, vibrant self. Teresa currently can’t work, drive, or see many of her loved ones due to having no immune system. Mom has always been a go getter and it has been hard on her and her loved ones to see her be slowed down by cancer. If you know Scott and Teresa you know they have built a beautiful family and life together and have touched so many of our hearts. My mom loves to camp, ski ( even though she can’t get her boot off and has to drive back down the mountain for assistance), hang out with her grandchildren, hysterically laugh with her kids until we cry and our cheeks hurt, garden, and make arts and crafts. Teresa is the strongest, funniest, and most caring person I know and is my very best friend . This has been a hard decision for my parents to ask for help because they have always taken care of themselves no matter how big the hurdle. We have been truly blessed throughout this process and feel immense gratitude for our friends, family, and work places that have come together and supported us.
