Family, Friends, and Associates,
Like so many, I have made some bad decisions in my life. One costly decision is when I decided to drive with expired tags and without a license. I have paid dearly for that choice in that it ultimately robbed me of the freedom to go wherever I want, whenever I want - a freedom so many of us take for granted until we lose the privilege. It is restrictive, not only physically but mentally, and has since confined me demographically.
However, I now have an amazing opportunity to own a wheelchair-equipped van, with a pre-installed ramp, swivel seat, and hand controls. This would be life-changing for me because it would allow me the freedom to go to my doctor's appointments on my own, grocery shop at leisure, and worship at church without having to depend on others to bring me back and forth. It would also save me over three hundred dollars a month in Uber and Lyft fees!
So now I'm asking for YOUR help! Would you consider assisting me by pledging a contribution on my behalf for the purchase of this van?
Being now five and a half years sober, I'm in the process of rebuilding. It's been a long road and so I want to ensure my success by insuring the van with one year of auto insurance, in addition to roadside assistance. There are also additional fees due in order to reinstate my driver's license and secure registration. With your help, my goal is to raise a total of $13,000 and make this opportunity a reality.
Why $13,000?
$10,000: 2000 Dodge Caravan
$3,000:
Auto Insurance
Roadside Assistance
DMV Reinstatement fees
Remote Control Key Fob Replacement (specifically for ramp)
I've been pushing a wheelchair for 27-years, I now wish to DRIVE into my future! Can I count on your financial support to help me regain a long lost freedom? Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
