Jerry’s decline is so rapid. Nothing seems to quiet him at night and he calls me momma now. He has now been awake since 11pm and nothing calms him. My heart is being ripped away piece by piece. Was considering applying for Medicaid and putting him in a nursing home but I don’t want to be apart from him. Trying to find a way to hire a caregiver in addition to hospice. Thinking about going with Fidelis. If anyone has any experience with a reliable caregiver. It doesn’t have to be an agency, please message me. If I don’t get some more help, I may not be around to care for him and our time is getting shorter."
