Help Teresa Brooks Double Lung Transplant

Dear Friends and Family,
For several years I have been treated for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, which basically means my lungs are filling with scar tissue with no known cause. In 2019, I was told I had 2-5 years to live. Thankfully, only God knows for sure. My three grandsons mean the world to me, and I really want to see them grow up.
The lung transplant team at Duke University in Durham, NC is offering me a chance to do that with a double lung transplant. The transplant team has advised me that I need to raise $25,000 for transplant-related expenses NOT covered by insurance.
These costs involve housing in Durham (necessary for several months during recovery), travel, medicines not covered by insurance, and various incidentals that come during prep and recovery. I am asking for your help. Any amount you can give will be helpful. Thank you for whatever you can do, but especially for your prayers.
