Teresa has long battled PTSD and Panic Disorder from past abuse, leading her to leave a high-stress, high-paying job for a lower-paying government role to prioritize her mental health.

Despite her efforts, a cascade of crises has pushed her to the brink: lost food stamp benefits, costs from her mother's passing, wage garnishment from a defaulted loan, and six months of unpaid mortgage payments, risking their home.

On top of this, her car broke down, and she's faced severe health issues, including breast cancer surgery and $16,000 in medical bills, all while paying for her Type 2 Diabetic medications.
