Hello Facebook friends and family. I am coming to everyone today in regards to my very good friend Tera. Her health journey started 12 years ago today. She has had anything and everything you could possibly imagine. Attack acardia, pacemaker defibrillator in and out of the hospital multiple times. She is now and has been at a point of doing IVIG therapy. Every other weekend is completely taken up by a in-home nurse that comes to her house and she has to sit and get an IV for approximately eight hours. The following day, it pretty much wipes her out and she is exhausted. She is quite frankly fighting for her life at this point. Tera has every marker for BII. Which is breast implant illness. She is at an all-time low in her weight.

She is now currently 105 pounds. On a woman who is 5 foot seven. At this point, it gets scarier and scarier because how much weight can you possibly lose before you are entering in a failure to thrive stage. This is the cold hard truth. Tera finally got in to speak to a surgeon that is in San Francisco to have her breast implants removed. Removal of these implants would quite frankly give her her life back and her health journey would completely turn around. it’s not just a simple procedure when you have a pacemaker and defibrillator. It has to be done in a hospital setting and it’s different than just a removal because you have to have the capsule around the implant ( infected tissue )removed.Her insurance will not cover this. We do not have any time to waste! The total cost for the surgery alone is $21,000. She will have to take approximately six weeks off of work to recover from this. And as everyone knows she is self-employed. I have prayed about this over and over again as so, many people have as well. I am asking you to give anything at all that would help her be able to have a surgery that would save her life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
