TequeArepa is a women-owned, family-run, Venezuelan restaurant built around sharing our culture with the Minnesotan community. Like many restaurants across the state, we are navigating a period of uncertainty for overall staff and customer safety. Out of an abundance of caution and with deep regret, we have decided to temporarily close until it is safe to open doors once more.
For our family, employees, and customers, TequeArepa has served as more than a workplace- it is our second home. We do not know how long this pause will be, but closing does have an immediate impact on hardworking staff who rely on restaurant income. This GoFundMe was created to help alleviate essential staff expenses and provide short-term financial aid, specifically:
- Direct support for loss of wages
- Necessary living expenses such as food, rent, and transportation
- Restaurant costs to ensure we are able to return.
