On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa wreaked unspeakable destruction on the south and west coasts of Jamaica, including West End Negril.

The owners of Tensing Pen hotel have set up this GoFundMe platform to hep with reconstruction efforts. Your generous donation will go directly to Tensing Pen employees and the West End community to rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

Many of our employees lost their roofs, part of their houses, and some lost their entire homes. Their fruit trees and vegetable gardens were uprooted, and their chicken coops flattened. Unrelenting rain coming through ripped out roofs soaked and destroyed their belongings.

Your kind donation, regardless of how small or big, will go towards buying building materials, household essentials damaged by the storms, and other items for our neighbors needed to operate their businesses.
