I lost my job last October when my company eliminated my position, and since then, finding work has been incredibly difficult. Despite applying for countless jobs, I’ve had very few callbacks and even fewer interviews. My unemployment benefits ran out in February, and I had to cash in my 401k to keep up with expenses. I thought I had everything planned out until the end of August, but a recent trip to the emergency room and two days in the personal care unit for pancreatitis changed everything. The follow-up medications took care of what I had reserved for August, leaving me in a tough spot.

Now, I’m facing the possibility of being homeless at the end of July. The funds raised here will help me cover rent, my phone bill, medications, and the everyday essentials that keep life stable. I’ve done everything I can to stay afloat, but the unexpected medical expenses have made it impossible to keep up.
