On August 15th, while on a trip to Las Vegas for a pool tournament with my brother Devan, my dad suffered a severe asthma attack that landed him in the ICU. What was supposed to be a fun vacation quickly turned into one of the scariest experiences of our lives.

When it became clear that his condition was serious, my mom and my uncle flew out immediately to be by his side and have remained there ever since. Thankfully, after many difficult days, my dad is finally improving and is expected to leave the hospital soon.

While we are beyond grateful for his recovery, the financial strain is starting to set in. Between last-minute flights, hotel stays, car rentals, missed work, daily expenses, and the uncertainty around medical bills (especially since his insurance just changed due to retirement), the costs have become overwhelming.

So many of our friends and family have asked how they can help. First and foremost, we ask for your continued prayers and support—that means the most to us. But if you feel led, contributing here would help ease the financial burden and allow my parents to focus fully on my dad’s healing.
