With Heavy Hearts, We Say Thank You

On Monday July 21, 2025, our beloved Temple transitioned peacefully into the presence of the Lord. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we are comforted knowing she is no longer in pain and now resting in eternal peace.

Temple was a devoted wife to Carl, a loving mother to Jade and Chenedy, and a woman of profound faith, strength, and compassion. She fought every battle with courage, grace, and an unshakable belief in God's promises. Her legacy of love, resilience, and faith will live on through her family and everyone who knew her.

On behalf of Carl, Jade, Chenedy, and the entire family we want to express our deepest thanks to every one of you who donated, prayed, shared, and stood with us. Your support helped lift a heavy burden and reminded us that we were not alone.

Please continue to pray for Carl, Jade, Chenedy, cherished sisters, Amber, Topaz, Mishka and family as we walk through this season of loss. We are trusting in God’s strength to carry us and holding fast to His Word:

Standing With Temple Arthur-Granville as She Has Stood With So Many Supporting Her Hospice Journey and Ongoing Care

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Our family is caring for a woman who has spent her life caring for others, with quiet strength, open arms, and a heart that never turned anyone away.

Earlier this year, we celebrated Temple’s remission from breast cancer, a moment of relief and hope. But not long after, our world shifted again. She was diagnosed with a more aggressive, fast-moving cancer. She's now receiving hospice care at home, and our priority is to keep Temple surrounded by love, peace, and the same compassion she has so freely given to others.

Many of you know the kind of person she is. Whether it was a hug, a word of wisdom, sage advice, a warm meal when you were hungry, a place to stay when you had none, a phone call at just the right time to honor you or to get you back on the right track, or simply her steady presence, Temple has touched countless lives. If you’re reading this, you likely have your own memory of how Temple showed up for you.

Now, we’re seeking to show up for her.

We’ve come together as a family to care for her full-time, but the costs (medical, household, and emotional) are far more than we can handle alone, particularly with her being the main breadwinner. As you can therefore imagine, the financial burden has become devastating. Humbly therefore, we are asking for your support as we work too:

• Increase the level of professional hospice and in-home care.

• Provide necessary supplies, comfort items, and daily support.

• Maintain stability for our family as we navigate this journey.

• Prepare for future expenses with dignity and peace.

We are not asking out of desperation, but out of deep love and a belief in community. Any contribution, prayer, or share helps lift a piece of the weight we’re carrying.
