I’m really not someone who asks for help easily, but things have become overwhelming over the past few months, and I’ve reached a point where I can’t manage everything on my own.

I moved to Canada hoping for a safer, more stable life and a real fresh start. Since then, I’ve built a community here, made close friends who support me, and created routines that help me stay grounded and well.

Since moving here, I have been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and C-PTDS — conditions caused by long-term trauma that now

affects my mobility, causes chronic pain, and can trigger psuedoseizures, especially during stress or sudden changes. Staying stable requires consistency, ongoing access to my current care, and the support network I’ve built here.

On top of managing my health, I’ve also been dealing with a very difficult and unexpected legal battle with my previous landlord who, in my opinion, violated multiple of my human rights and have withheld monies owed to me after I woke up to a flooded bedroom - caused by their neglect. It’s been stressful, time-consuming, and has made my housing situation uncertain, adding a level of instability that’s been hard to navigate while managing FND. I am representing myself in civil proceedings and have already faced multiple barriers, including financial, during the process.

Right now, I’m applying for a new visa through humanitarian and compassionate grounds so I can stay in Canada and keep the care and stability that I rely on. But between legal fees, visa application costs, medical appointments, and the general strain of the situation, things have become financially overwhelming.

I’m raising funds to help me get through this time — to cover my immigration application (alone costing $2,300 total), legal support, medical expenses, and basic living costs while everything is being processed. Anything at all helps, and I’m genuinely grateful for every bit of support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page.
