Wahoo!!!!!! The Telluride Professional Ski Patrol Association is pleased to announce that we have ratified our contract with Telluride Ski & Golf Resort. Our local had a lengthy discourse over the compromises of this new contract. While we are ultimately disappointed it does not address our broken wage structure, we are immensely proud of our efforts that have led to the financial movement the new contract contains.

We are excited to return to work immediately....and we are just as excited that the mountain will open again immediately bringing much needed work back to so many of our fellow employees and businesses.

Each of you and your contributions --both in supportive spirit and funding -- have helped us get to this place! We were able to stand firm in advocating for fair wages knowing that there is a community of folks out here who support us, and also knowing that we would be able to cover our rent. WORDS CANNOT CONVEY THE DEPTH OF OUR GRATITUDE!!!!

While members of patrol made the deliberate and hard decision for a work stoppage, Telski's unanticipated closure of the mountain forced many of our fellow residents into the same boat. Our hearts have been breaking to learn of your hardships. To also ensure that you are able to cover your rent and keep food on your table as you recover from this lag in income, we are donating a large chunk of this fund to the Telluride Foundation's Good Neighbor Fund. A HUGE thank you to the Telluride Foundation and Tri-County Health Network for stewarding and administering these funds to ensure they get out quickly and where they are most needed.
