Help Tejeanne secure housing and vehicle maintenance

I am Rachael, a friend of the De Milo family. Through a series of traumatic events beyond her control, Tejeanne, a loving mother and fierce advocate for her daughter Jessica, has lost her job as Jessica’s primary caregiver. Jessica has been taken from her care, and now Mama Bear Tejeanne is fighting to get her back.

In the midst of this battle, Tejeanne is facing eviction from their shared apartment by October 3rd. She urgently needs our support to secure a stable place to live and a reliable vehicle to visit Jessica and bring her home. Without transportation, her ability to fight for Jessica and be there for her is severely limited.

We are calling on those who have known and supported Jessica through her journey since her brain injury in 2009, as well as anyone who feels moved to help. Right now, Tejeanne’s priority need is financial assistance to repair her vehicle and secure housing. Any contribution toward moving expenses, rent, deposits, and utilities will make a huge difference.
