For 49 years, Wilderness Trek has been passionate about helping teenagers, from across the country, get outside and grow in faith and relationships through high adventure trips in the majestic Rocky Mountains. WHY IT MATTERS

Today’s young people are facing a mental health crisis. Rates of anxiety, depression, and isolation are at historic highs. Teenagers are constantly connected to screens, yet increasingly disconnected from faith, creation, and meaningful community. Wilderness Trek exists to change that. By guiding teens into God’s creation, we help them unplug and rediscover what matters most—faith, identity, purpose, and belonging.

We believe the wilderness is a place where God restores hearts, strengthens relationships, builds resilience, and transforms lives.

And we believe that now, more than ever, teenagers need spaces like this.

OUR VISION

Through God’s provision, we have the opportunity to significantly expand our capacity in Colorado by acquiring Wilderness Expeditions, the state’s largest commercial and faith-based outfitter. This acquisition, along with our combined long histories of ministry, will allow us to:

• Take 1,000+ more teenagers each year into the beauty of God’s creation.

• Provide more scholarships so under-resourced youth are not left behind.

• Broaden our outfitting and guiding operations to serve more churches, schools, and families.

• Become the largest permitted outfitter in both CO and NM… all in the Name of Jesus!

THE GOAL

Raise $300,000 by Nov 15th, 2025, to make this vision a reality in 2026.
