In January 2024, my husband Ted suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that turned our world upside down. Since then, we’ve been navigating the long, emotional road of healing with love, faith, and determination.

Ted works incredibly hard every day to regain strength, balance, and mobility. But sadly, insurance only covers 4 hours of therapy a week which is not nearly enough for someone recovering from a life-altering injury like his.

To give him the daily therapy he needs, we’re planning to convert our garage into a home rehab gym, but we can’t do it alone.

We’re raising funds to:

• Purchase physical therapy equipment

• Install safety rails, a harness system, and fall-prevention tools

• Ensure the space is secure and accessible for someone with balance challenges

• Renovate our master bathroom to be TBI-accessible, so Ted can have his own space again built for his dignity and independence
