I have been diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time in a year. Found a new lump 2 weeks after my mastectomy. 3 drs said they would keep an eye on it. They never did, even after I reminded them several times. Here it is a year later and now they are Insisting on all these tests to see if it has spread elsewhere. Copays are high and I cannot afford them on SSDI. Medicare only pays a part of the tests. Leaves me with the rest. I have tried all the resources I. A find for help. None of them will help. Susan G Komen said no. American cancer society said no. I have tried others and always get turned down! I have donated to these charities for years automatically out of my paychecks. Now when I need help. They tell me no! It’s crushing and I will never give them another dime.

I have no choice but to humble myself and ask for help from strangers. I cannot have these tests without help.
