On September 26th, I rescued a rehomed spaniel mix named Teddy as a second dog for our home. Immediately, he became part of the family and took my son Alden as his best friend and quickly took to annoying his four-legged sister Stella, our other dog.

At a regular vet visit to get him chipped, on heartworm meds, and flea and tick meds, his blood work showed he was at stage one, almost two, with heartworms.

As a single mom, and like a good percentage of all families, money is tight. Teddy’s treatment is going to cost up to almost $2,000.

I know this is a big ask in this economy, so if you could please share, that will help so much in hoping to reach someone that might be in a place to donate even the smallest amount.
