Help Teddy Get the Care That Could Save His Life
Our beautiful boy Teddy is 4 years old — full of personality, cheeky smiles, and the kindest little heart. He loves to laugh, play, and be around his family. But behind that smile is a battle no child should ever have to fight.
Teddy has severe, complex epilepsy.
His seizures are unpredictable and often happen in his sleep. His body goes completely rigid, his muscles move uncontrollably, and there are moments where he stops breathing. We never know what we are going to wake up to, or if the next seizure will be the one we can’t bring him back from. He is at high risk of SUDEP, and we are living in constant fear.
We have fought tirelessly for Teddy to receive proper care here in Western Australia, including at Perth Children’s Hospital, but we have faced ongoing barriers — lack of consistent outpatient support, delays in treatment, and limited access to more advanced therapies.
We have asked for help. We have escalated concerns. We are still waiting.
We can’t wait any longer.
We are now trying to take Teddy interstate to access specialist teams, further investigations, and treatments that have not yet been explored — options that could change or even save his life.
But we cannot do this alone.
The cost of flights, accommodation, time off work, and ongoing medical care is overwhelming — especially while caring for a child with high medical needs.
We are asking for your help to give Teddy a chance.
Funds raised will go towards: • Interstate travel for urgent medical care
• Accommodation during extended hospital stays
• Specialist consultations and further testing
• Accessing alternative and advanced treatment options
Teddy’s story is now being shared publicly to raise awareness of the serious gaps in care families like ours are facing:

If you can donate, share, or help us spread Teddy’s story, it means everything to our family.
We are just trying to keep our little boy safe.
Thank you for standing with Teddy
